Estimator Tips
- Electrical panels are typically in the basement, garage, utility room, laundry room, or outside.
- EV chargers are often installed in the garage, within 10 feet of the charging port on your car (charging cable lengths vary)
- A linear foot is a 12-inch straight measurement of length. You can determine linear footage by using a tape measure to measure the distance from your panel to the potential charger location in straight lines. Make sure to measure both vertically and horizontally.
