Estimator Tips

Electrical panels are typically in the basement, garage, utility room, laundry room, or outside.
EV chargers are often installed in the garage, within 10 feet of the charging port on your car (charging cables are about 18’)
A linear foot is a 12-inch straight measurement of length. You can determine linear footage by using a tape measure to measure the distance from your panel to the potential charger location in straight lines.
No tape measure? Walk from your panel to the potential charger location, counting your steps the whole way. Multiply your total steps by 2 1/2 for a rough idea of linear footage.
